TERMS OF USE

By enrolling in the IllinoisAdultDriversEd.com (“ILAD”) program, you hereby agree with the following terms and conditions:

This 6-hour online adult driver education course is approved by the Illinois Secretary of State (“SOS”) for adults ages 18-20 who need to obtain an Illinois driverís license and have not previously held a driverís license in any other state or completed a classroom driver education course.

Certificates will only be issued to those students who complete the course and are between the ages of 18 and 20 years old.

You are responsible for ensuring that the information you provided during online enrollment matches the driver record that the Illinois SOS office has on file or it will be rejected by the SOS and you will not receive credit for completing the course. If your driver record information is rejected, ILAD will assess a $10 non-refundable surcharge for each subsequent transmission of your corrected information to the SOS.

The online course is divided into 10 chapters of instruction and a final examination. At the conclusion of each chapter you will be prompted to take a quiz. Upon passing the quiz you will move to the next chapter. You will also be required to answer 10 personal identity verification challenge questions. These questions will be used to verify your identity during the course. If you fail two (2) of these questions, the SOS requires ILAD to permanently disable your account and you will not be eligible for a refund of the course tuition.

At the conclusion of the course you will take a final exam. You must pass with a score of 75% in two or fewer attempts. If you fail the final exam, your account will be permanently disabled and you will not be eligible for a refund of the course tuition.

Upon passing our course, we will notify SOS of your completion and you will receive an email from SOS, not ILAD, with instructions about how to obtain the completion letter as evidence of your course completion, which you will need before you may apply for an Illinois driver’s license.

You will have 30 days from the date of your registration to complete the course. If you do not complete your course within this time frame your account will be permanently disabled and you will not be eligible for a refund of the course tuition.
